University of St. Ambrose - 5th of January, 2012

ImageAn American delegation composed of six students from the University of St. Ambrose in the U.S. visited Bethlehem region for one day. The delegation started their day with a visit to the Nativity Church and the Milk Grotto before walking through the old city as far as Bethlehem University.

They also visited the Applied Research Institute Jerusalem (ARIJ) to learn more about the segregation wall and the issue of land confiscation.

Later, they stopped in the Aida refugee camp to experience the separation wall first hand and close up, and also had a chance to tour the camp.

They ended their visit in Beit Sahour, with a tour of the church at Shepherds' Fields.
