Group from Japan, March 1st – 10th, 2012

Hosted by the Siraj Center, a group of nine Japanese professors, journalists, and film directors has made a tour of Palestine to learn more about the reality of the situation on the ground.

The group visited the major towns of Palestine - Jerusalem, Jericho, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin, Nazareth, Haifa, Jaffa, Beit Sahour, and Hebron – and discussed their observations with both Palestinian and Israeli activists and organizations.

Our Japanese guests told us that they felt ‘privileged’ to have had the opportunity to explore the region and to gain this insight into the people, culture, and politics of Palestine.
