For its fifth consecutive year, Siraj Center organized the Palestinian Summer Celebration, where participants were hosted by Palestinian families. Most of the participants spent one month experiencing nature in Palestine, taking cooking and Arabic language courses, and doing volunteer work. Moreover, they visited several Palestinian cities including Ramallah, Nablus and Jerusalem. During one of the day trips, they toured the city of Jericho, and had a relaxing experience 400 meters below sea level, floating at the Dead Sea.
For the participants it was a great opportunity to experience Palestine life, and to immerse themselves in the Palestinian culture and heritage, while at the same time, better understanding the Palestinian cause.
